Sweeps
Sweep is a special drilling fluid, formulated to transport cutting from the wellbore. You can clean the hole effectively by adjusting its density and viscosity. If you adjust only the density without changing viscosity, the resulted sweep is called “weighted sweep”. On other hand, if you adjust only the viscosity without changing density, the resulted sweep is called “high-viscosity sweep”. If you adjust both, then the sweep is called “high-viscosity and a weighted sweep”.
